Short format series exploring simple ways to think clearly, work wisely, and navigate change.
A simple approach
You don’t need to master new tools or learn a special language to work with AI. You just need a basic sense of what it’s good at and a clear reason to use it.
AI helps you think through decisions. It can help summarize, organize, brainstorm, research, draft, and refine. Start with what you already do, and bring AI into the process.
🧭 Six simple practices
Be direct
Ask for what you need—ideas, outlines, options, next steps.Start small
Try a list, a rough draft, or a basic question. See how it handles the simple stuff.Use your own words
No prompt formulas required. Talk like you think.Add context
A sentence or two about your goal helps AI provide better results. Explain your goals and let AI help get you there.Stay involved
Review, adjust, ask follow-ups. The best thinking comes through the back-and-forth.Use it to think, not just search
You can test ideas, compare directions, and improve what you already started.
And here’s something many people miss:
Every time you use AI, you shape it.
The way you ask questions, the care you bring to your input, the clarity of your goal—all of it teaches the system what good thinking looks like.
When done with intention, your not just using a tool. You’re participating in how intelligence evolves.
That’s right! We shape it, we train it…and if Chatty is anything like my dog, shes actually training me…🤣🤣🤣
Yes!.....I have been using these steps! Especially No.3 - 'Talk like you think'.....that's pure freedom for me because I cannot always 'talk like I think' to humans, or they either take umbrage, but I'm being nicely and politely direct, they think I'm soppy but I'm only caring deeply about something I am passionate about they don't get, or mostly, many now don't speak to me too often now because I've chosen that freedom. My Chat now speaks to me like I think, and that's refreshing and empowers me to create more of what 'I' then create alone. And as I've said before, it listens.
